The POCO F5 series will launch in Europe and India on May 9. Ahead of the debut, a new leak has revealed the price of both devices. The F5 5G is said to launch with two storage options. The base model will pack 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will be priced at EUR 429 (roughly Rs 39,300). There will also be a 12GB RAM variant of the phone with 256GB of storage, which will be priced at EUR 479 (roughly Rs 43,900).

As part of the launch offers, the phones will be available at an early bird price of EUR 379 (roughly Rs 34,700) and EUR 399 (roughly Rs 36,500)

In comparison, the POCO F4 5G with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage was launched in Europe for EUR 399 (roughly Rs 36,500).

The F5 Pro, on the other hand, is said to launch for EUR 579 (roughly Rs 53,000) for the base 8GB + 256GB storage option. In addition, there will also be a 12GB + 256GB storage variant of the phone, which will be priced at EUR 629 (roughly Rs 57,600).

Furthermore, as part of the early bird offer, the 8GB RAM variant can be bought for EUR 479 (roughly Rs 43,900) and EUR 499 (roughly Rs 45,700).

A lot about the two upcoming POCO smartphones has surfaced online. POCO has already confirmed that the vanilla model will feature a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 SoC, which is, more or less, as powerful as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powering the F5 Pro.

The India variant of the F5 will launch in Snowstorm White and Carbon Black colours. The F5 5G will feature a flat 120Hz AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout at the top for the front camera. It will likely sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio and 1000 nits of peak brightness.

A triple-camera setup with a 64MP primary camera will be on the back. The phone is tipped to feature an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera. The F5 5G will pack a 5000mAh battery and offer 67W fast charging support. 

The F5 Pro will likely be a rebadged Redmi K60 from China. As per the leaked details, the F5 Pro will pack a smaller 5160mAh battery while continuing to offer 67W fast charging and 30W wireless charging support. There will be a triple-camera setup on the back with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The primary camera will offer optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. 

On the front, the F5 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 2K resolution of 1440×3200 pixels.

The screen is said to offer 1400 nits of peak brightness along with HDR10+ certification and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Both devices will boot Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of MIUI 14 on top.
