Tottenham stage incredible comeback to beat Bournemouth as Rodrigo Bentancur’s last-gasp goal ends winless run

Rodrigo Bentancur came off the bench to score a dramatic 92nd minute winner for Tottenham as they fought back from 2-0 down at Bournemouth.

Antonio Conte’s side looked to be heading for three consecutive Premier League defeats when Kieffer Moore scored twice for the Cherries.

Rodrigo Bentancur and Ben Davies both got on the score sheet in the five-goal thriller
The Wales international broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute with a low curling strike past the outstretched arms of Hugo Lloris.
And he then outmuscled Emerson Royal to power in a header just after the break to send the Bournemouth fans into delirium.
Antonio Conte got just the response he would have wanted as Ryan Sessegnon pulled a goal back in the 57th minute.
Ben Davies then popped up with an equaliser after getting on the end of Ivan Perisic’s corner in the 73rd minute.
And after intense pressure, the visitors finally got their reward in stoppage time with Spurs scoring from yet another corner.
The ball dropped to substitute Bentancur inside the box, who rifled the ball home into the roof of the net.

Spurs’ win ends a run of two consecutive Premier League defeats to Manchester United and Newcastle.
